In Pura City, your life's path is determined by a test. You will become a slave, a normal citizen, or a member of the all-powerful Magna Council. When Alice Kingston takes this life-altering test, she becomes the first to achieve a perfect score, catapulting her directly onto the Magna Council, a position she did not desire. Soon, however, she discovers her best friend, Amica, managed to take last place in test scores, which forces her into a life of slavery. Knowing she can't live with that burden, Alice takes it upon herself to free Amica by bargaining with the megalomaniac leader of Pura City. As she gains influence in the city, however, she realizes she can change more than just her friend's life.
